Description
The Center Interdisciplinary Gender Studies Innsbruck (CGI) and the affiliated research platform researches, theorizes and deconstructs gender and gender relations in a trans- and interdisciplinary perspective. The CGI and the Research Platform deepen the cooperation of scientists and lecturers in the field of Women´s*, Gender, Feminist and Queer Studies regionally, nationally and transnationally. In addition, they seeks to enhance the links to international research, strengthen Women´s*, Gender, Feminist and Queer Studies through cooperations with non-university actors and organisations and to disseminate research findings to the public, politics and society in order to contribute to the reduction of intersectional inequalities.
