XRD Powder diffractometer Panalytical X’Pert PRO

X’Pert diffractometer is a state-of-the-art X-ray powder diffractometer, capable of offering a very wide range of analyses and the possibility a complete characterization of geological and ornamental geomaterials. It is equipped with a theta/theta geometry goniometer with 45-position automatic sample changer and fast RTMS X’Celerator detector. Analysis of minerals, rocks, archaeological finds and various materials, both natural and synthetic, can be performed, and both qualitative interpretation and quantitative evaluation by Rietveld method are provided. The samples investigated include mainly silicates and non-silicates from different geological origins, samples from metalliferous deposits from various areas of the world, and metallic and lithoid materials for mineralogical studies of archeometric type.
