In this Aurora in Action event hosted at VU Amsterdam, Aurora network teachers/staffs and students share inspirations and experiences on Societal Engagement and Impact in Education, discuss with international experts and thought-leaders on Knowledge Equity in Science, and form a part of Science with Society Festival together with societal stakeholders (local residents, community partners, organizations, policymakers) to discuss societal issues that relate to SDGs, and together co-create solutions to address those issues.

The Aurora in Action event comprises three parts:

  1. International Learning Lab with speakers from several Aurora partner universities (see ‘Speakers’)
  2. Science with Society festival
  3. Knowledge Equity symposium
