Societal Challenges: Virtual Lecture Series & Early Career Networking Hour 2023

Target group:
For academics
Pilot domain:
Digital Society & Global Citizenship

The Universities of Iceland and Duisburg-Essen are pleased to announce the Societal Challenges virtual lecture series, a series of meetings dedicated to early-career researchers with the aim of providing cutting-edge academic analysis on the diverse issues of our time and offering international networking opportunities for PhD and postdoctoral researchers.
The engaging online lectures, delivered by leading researchers within the Aurora Alliance, fit within two of Aurora’s pilot domains:
Digital Society & Global Citizenship
Health & Well-being

Each online lecture will last 30-45 minutes. Immediately afterwards, participants will divide into discussion rooms in order to discuss the content of the lecture, formulate questions for the speaker and network for 20 minutes. Finally, the audience and speaker reconvene for a stimulating, well-prepared Q&A session.

Early-career researchers from all aurora universities, including associate partners, are welcome!
