Genomics Core Facility (GCF)
Description
In the “Genomics Core Facility” (GCF) at the Aquatic Ecosystem Research Group, high-throughput analyses are performed to characterize biodiversity. A major focus is on the characterization of animal communities from bulk samples as well as from environmental DNA (eDNA) using the “DNA metabarcoding” technique. In addition, the GCF performs central analyses (metabarcoding, metagenomics, metatranscriptomics) for the DFG Collaborative Research Center 1439 “RESIST”.
