Ars Rosa – Archivio sulla ragion di Stato / Reason of State Archive
Description
The Study Centre on Reason of State and Democracy (www.ragionidistato.it) is endowed with its own library consisting of a specialised collection on the themes of Reason of State, Tacitism, Machiavellianism in the early modern age, and a selected fund dedicated to democratic political theory.
The ARS RoSA (Archivio della Ragion di Stato / Reason of State Archive) fund consists of more than 2000 volumes that are currently being catalogued and reordered, as well as an important collection of documentary and digital material expressly dedicated to the multiple historical and theoretical declinations of the theme of ‘ratio status’.
