Health & Well-being
The Health & Well–being Hub focuses on advancing interdisciplinary understanding of health across areas such as ageing, senescence, vulnerability, and the broader determinants of wellbeing. It emphasises training and global collaboration to address pressing societal health challenges and contribute to sustainable development priorities.
entral to the Hub’s identity is its cocreation model. Hub members collaborate to design activities that are inclusive, participatory, and intellectually stimulating. Active learning, problembased group work, and creative thinking are core principles, enabling participants to explore health and wellbeing issues from multiple disciplinary angles. This approach has catalyzed the creation of an international learning community that extends beyond Europe, strengthening global connections and shared expertise.
Through these initiatives, the Hub reinforces the Aurora academic community, deepens the integration of research and education, and champions innovative pedagogical practices aligned with the SDGs. Its ongoing work enriches learning experiences and amplifies Aurora’s collective capacity to address urgent societal needs.
