An important goal of ACFL is to pool this knowledge of its researchers and to create an optimal environment for the combination of classical legal national, comparative law and Multidisciplinary (empirical) research. Furthermore, ACFL aims to contribute to the scientific debate on the development of Dutch family law, as well as to the broad international discourse on the development of family & law in Europe and beyond.
