Aims of the Programme
The course aims to provide students with advanced analytical skills to assess climate change impacts and develop evidence-based adaptation strategies. By combining scientific methods with practical applications, students learn to evaluate climate risks and design sustainable, climate-resilient solutions for real-world contexts.
Content & Methods
The programme combines theoretical input with hands-on data analysis, project-based group work, discussions, presentations, continuous feedback, and independent study. Students use real climate datasets to analyze case studies and collaboratively develop adaptation strategies.
Key Topics
Students work with climate data, calculate climate indicators, assess climate impacts, develop climate impact profiles, and evaluate adaptation strategies using ecological, economic, and social sustainability criteria. The course also explores critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication of scientific findings.
