Innsbruck Atmospheric Observatory (IAO) for Environmental Research in Alpine and Urban Terrain

The “Innsbruck Atmospheric Observatory (IAO) for Environmental Research in Alpine and Urban Terrain” is a core facility for physical and chemical observation of the atmosphere in urban areas embedded in the complex terrain of an alpine valley. The IAO is used for long-term monitoring as well as for targeted measurement campaigns. It consists of a permanent and a mobile infrastructure part.
