Esmee Paques
Esmee Paques is the Aurora institutional coordinator for the Aurora European university alliance at VU Amsterdam. As the coordinating partner, she was part of the management work package for the first bid and has been working as a policy advisor within the international office since 2009. Started as an expert on international admissions, she now has a track record of many completed projects and dealt with numerous policy issues for VU Amsterdam. She was part of the Mastermind Europe project, a project that was set up to respond to the need for better matching of students to master programs, where she developed a toolkit to use personal traits and competencies for better admission decisions. In 2019 she was closely involved in shaping the recent VU Amsterdam strategic plan 2020-2025. She holds a Master’s degree in Culture, Organization and Management.
