Induction Plasma System Teksphero-15: The Teksphero-15 enables spheroidizing of powder feedstock.
System features:
– Inductively coupled plasma generated by a signal generator with a power of 15 kW at a frequency range of 2 – 5 MHz.
– Spheroidizing reactor is suitable for use with reactive metals

– Cyclone chamber for filtering fine powder Laboratory equipment for selective laser melting 400 W / 1100°C: The laboratory system enables additive (generative) manufacturing of components from materials that cannot be processed with conventional selective laser melting equipment.

Interfaces play a crucial role in multiphase systems in terms of material properties due to phase adhesion. Basis for characterization, modification and control of the interface in multiphase systems is thus the key for the development of new materials. The Core Facility “Interface in Hybrid Systems” provides research infrastructure for structural elucidation (chemical and physical) of interfaces in hybrid structures and contributes to establish fundamental understanding of interfacial phenomena.
